Bangladesh
Bangladesh cricket team is struggling through the ICC world cup 2023. Their world cup season performance is also very low. They somehow managed to won 2 matches out of 8 matches. The team is standing at the seventh place in point table with 4 points in hand. Still their last match is going to happen with Australia on 11 November 2023. If they want to secure their place in champions trophy 2025, they should have to defeat Australia. But if they loose the game than all eyes will be on performance of other teams to manage the permutation and combination.
Sri Lanka
Secondly its Sri Lanka cricket team who is in the race for champions trophy 2025 and their ICC world cup 2023 performance is poor. During league matches team has won only 2 matches out of 8 matches. They gained 4 points and stands 3rd last in the point table. Their next match is with New Zealand on 9 November 2023 at Bengaluru. They have to win this match to secure their place in champions trophy 2025. If they didn’t manage to win than two other teams will not be able to reach 6 points. Then they to look for other teams result.
Netherlands cricket team
Netherland cricket team dented the journey of South Africa cricket team by defeating them in a thriller match. The team has able to won 2 matches in the league matches out of 7 matches. The team is standing at the second last place on points table. Their upcoming two matches are with England and India. In such situation team has to win both the matches to secure the place in champions trophy 2025. However, if they beat England and lose to India, they can finish at 6th position with only Bangladesh and Sri Lanka matching them. Apart from this, attention will also have to be paid to the net-run rate. The team will have to struggle a lot to qualify.
England cricket team
England’s performance in the 2023 World Cup has been far from ideal. They’ve only managed to secure one win in their seven matches, and they currently find themselves in 10th place with just 2 points. Looking ahead, England has two matches left against Pakistan and Netherlands. To have a chance at making it to the Champions Trophy 2025, they must win both of these upcoming matches. Winning both would give them 6 points, but it’s important to note that Bangladesh and Sri Lanka could also reach 6 points.
This means that in addition to winning, England will need a strong run-rate to boost their chances. On the flip side, if England loses to the Netherlands, they’ll have to secure a win against Pakistan and hope that both Bangladesh and Sri Lanka face defeats in their respective matches
