What is PM Kisan Yojana?

The Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi is a scheme fully backed by the Indian government, kicking off on December 1, 2018. It’s not just big; it’s one of the largest Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) programs globally. The goal? To back farmers in fulfilling their agricultural needs and more.

Here’s how it works: Every year, land-holding farmer families receive Rs 6,000 in three equal instalments, directly deposited into their bank accounts. It’s a direct boost to help them thrive in their farming endeavours.
